POLE OF COMPETITIVENESS THROUGH INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER FOR SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF CROSS BORDER REGION DANUBE 21, DOLJ, OLT, MEHEDINTI, VIDIN, MONTANA
The Romanian Association for Electronic and Software Industry Oltenia Subsidiary -Aries Oltenia in partnership with the Information Business Center for Regional Development -IBCRD- Belogradchik and Agency for Regional Development and Business Center 2000- Montana (ARD&BC), implements in the program Phare CBC 2005 the project “Pole of competitiveness through Innovation and Technology Transfer for sustainable economic development of cross border region Danube 21, Dolj, Olt, Mehedinti, Vidin, Montana”.
The objective of this project is to promote the economic development in the cross-border region Danube 21 by increasing cooperation between the business environment of innovation, technology transfer and communications.
Within this project,  will take place in the period 4-6 December 2008, the exhibition “Best cross border practice in research, innovation applied in production and commerce”. At this exhibition will participate SMEs and  services providers from the cross-border area Dolj, Olt, Mehedinti, Vidin, Montana, this event representing a good opportunity for establishing new bilateral contacts  and opening of new channels of communications between entrepreneurs in the area of the Bulgarian-Romanian border.
During this exhibition will tale place the round table „E-commerce, e-business, modern approach of business promotion”

The project is financed from PHARE FUNDS CBC 2005 and will proceed for a period of 20 months. The implementation period of the project is 01.09.2007-30.04.2009.
